Chapter 3 - How Did Satan Get All This Power?
We learned that Satan lost his elevated position because of pride.
In this world we live in it sometimes feels like pride is the main currency. It would appear that most people are striving to be the best, the most popular, the best looking, have the most friends or likes online etc.
Yet the Bible teaches us to be humble and not to esteem ourselves more highly than we should. Jesus was our perfect example. The Bible said He made himself of no reputation, even though He was clearly the most powerful, wisest and best healer while he was here.
As a matter of fact so 'unknown' that Judas had to betray him with a kiss. Let that sink in, those that came to arrest Jesus didn't know what he looked like nor could they pick him out of a crowd because he looked and dressed just like a regular person.
